Easy to handle, extra skin-friendly: fastening strap
The Transafix fastening straps are used for long-term secure fastening of probes, catheters, tubes and drainages. The secure universal fastening is especially skin-friendly and particularly suited for long-term fastening. Moreover, the clinic staff benefits from the simple handling. In order to ensure secure fastening for different lumens and different body regions, there are four different sizes of Transafix fastening straps available.

For smaller volumes (nasal and gastric probes, cables etc.) e.g. in children
The Transpore carrier patch is the basic carrier for the attached hook-and-loop tape. It adjusts to any body shape. A securely adhesive, skin-friendly, moisture-resistant acrylate glue ensures close fitting of the patch. The breathable patch is thus also especially suited for long-term fastening on sensitive skin.

Transafix Fastening Strap No. 2 are mainly used for fastening of PEG and CAPD and to relieve the pull on infusions and other devices and lines which are not under excessive strain.

Fastening of thicker “tubes”: especially for the fastening of urinary catheters and suprapubic catheters and wound drainages, central venous catheters, lines and similar devices.
